Perles de Lalique is a Chypre Floral fragrance created for Women in 2006 by perfumer Nathalie Lorson.
Review
This scent is earthy and elegant. Bulgarian Rose shines bright as it blends with Patchouli and Bourbon Pepper. It is a Yin and Yang scent of ethereal darkness and soft femininity. It can be worn to the office if applied lightly, and is very well suited for intimate evening and formal occasions. It will work in any season, but most notably in the Fall. It has been compared to both Dior Midnight Poison and Tom Ford Noir de Noir Eau Fraiche.
Inspiration
Perles de Lalique takes inspiration from the ‘Cactus’ powder box, originally created by Rene Lalique in 1928.
Notes
This scent begins with Bulgarian Rose and Orris. The Rose lingers as the sharp warmth of Patchouli and Bourbon Pepper sets in, adding an element of depth. Cashmere Wood, in the base, adds an almost creamy quality that softens any harsh edges. The subtle sweetness of Tonka Beans plays well with the floral essence of this scent, adding to the elegance and sophistication.
