Review
This scent is warm and sweet. Frankincense and Black Pepper break up the sweetness of Peach, Plum, Pineapple and Coconut Milk, which gives the scent a spicy, Lactonic quality. The Pine, Patchouli, Woods and Leather add an earthy depth that envelops and boosts the sweetness. Though Heliotrope is the only floral note in this scent, you get faint hints of it here and there as things develop. It has a faint tropical essence to it, almost like you’re imbibing in some sort of milky, fruity drink in a beachside restaurant with small Palm Trees and tropical flowering plants decorating the inside. It’s sweet, with faint hints of something bitter, then gentle wisps of woods, and finishes with a velvety Leather essence. It almost feels like everything is taking a turn revealing itself, but also like it’s all blending together perfectly. It’s warm and sweet and velvety with the perfect amount of depth. It feels complex, yet effortless. It kind of has a smoother, quieter, more intimate vibe on the skin, but will last. The double-infusion of sandalwood in Oakwood barrels during the maceration process gives this scent incredible performance. It will work well in any season and weather, though could be a bit too much for very hot weather. It can be worn to the office, and dressed up or down for any formal or casual occasion. It has a vibe like Initio Parfums Prives Lift Me Up, but with much more depth from woods and Leather.
Inspiration
Line 618 is an olfactory expression of time and its constant movement. It takes inspiration from The Golden Ratio, where mathematical harmony is found in nature.
Notes
Hojari Frankincense and Black Pepper add a spicy pop to the sweet blend of Pineapple, Peach, Plum and Coconut Milk. Heliotrope adds a silky floral essence throughout the scent, but it never becomes too floral. Pine, Patchouli and Guaiacwood add a woody, earthy vibe, with Sandalwood revealing its creamy essence as well as its woody nature. Leather adds a velvety depth, finishing this scent with a simple complexity.
