Montabaco Intensivo is a spicy, aromatic, warm scent created for Men and Women in 2013 by perfumer Geza Schoen.
Review
This scent is intriguing. It’s spicy, yet fresh. Tobacco Leaf and Tea Notes blend with Citruses and Herbs to create something unique. Suede in the base adds depth without becoming too Leathery. Everything is subtle, smooth and vibrant at the same time. It feels very fitting for the take-charge person who oozes confidence and success. It will work well in any professional or formal setting, and will transition well into date night or after work cocktails. It will work in any casual setting where you want to feel confident and intriguing. Its spicy quality makes it long lasting, though never overpowering. It has been compared to the vintage D&G Pour Homme(1994), and shares similarities with Parfums de Marly Godolphin and Creed Silver Mountain Water. Try this sample and let us know what you think!
Inspiration
Montabaco Intensivo is inspired by the sensuality and intimacy of South America. Whether it’s time with friends and family, or a tango and cocktails, life is lived with passion.
Notes
A note of Tobacco Leaf is found in the base of this scent, but can be felt immediately, blending with Orange Absolute and Bergamot. This bright opening mellows lightly with earthy herbs of Sage and Juniper, and a subtle floral heart. Magnolia, Rose, Violet and Hedione are muted as they soften the warmer notes in this scent. Tea Notes begin to blend with the Tobacco Leaf and a hint of Moss, keeping things smooth. The citrus notes continue to thrive as Sandalwood and Tonka create a smooth wood tone while Ambergris adds to the warmth and depth.
