Neroli Sauvage is a citrus, aromatic, Amber scent created for Men and Women in 1994.
Review
This scent is refreshing and summery, boosting the mood with bright citruses. Neroli and Grapefruit stand out strongly, warmed with Ambergris in the base. It can be work in the workplace, but feels much better suited for casual days when you can be out enjoying the sunshine. It can be easily dressed up for dressy casual or semi formal occasions. It is a scent that will become more intimate as the day goes on. It has been compared to Echt Kolnisch Wasser 4711 and shares similarities with Tom Ford’s Neroli Portofino.
Inspiration
Neroli Sauvage was inspired by a 17th century Duchess of Nerola(near Rome) who was said to have popularized the use of the scent of Neroli.
Notes
Neroli and Verbena stand out amongst a blend of citruses with Bergamot, Bitter Orange, and Lemon. Orange Blossom in the heart adds a hint of its citrus floral essence, while a subtly refreshing warmth comes from Ambergris in the base.
