Osmanthus is a fresh, citrus, floral scent created for Men and Women in 2006 by perfumer Geza Schoen. It was re-released in 2024 as a Parfum.
Review
This scent is fresh and sparkling. Osmanthus Absolute and Water Lily are brightened with Pomelo, creating an effervescent feeling. Cedarwood in the base adds just the right amount of depth without taking away from the lighter notes. It is the perfect Summer scent, but will work well to boost your mood in the colder months. It has a casual vibe, making it perfect for running errands, driving around listening to music, lunch dates, beach dates, and everything in between. It also boasts a gentle elegance that makes it work just as well in the office, and any professional or formal setting. Though light, it will last. It has been compared to the Hermes Garden series.
Inspiration
Osmanthus is inspired by nostalgic memories of Osmanthus Tea served upon arrival in faraway lands.
Notes
Bright Pomelo dazzles the senses right away. Osmanthus Absolute and Water Lily mingle with a delicate Jasmine note, creating a subtle water floral essence. Davana and Pimento add a light earthy essence that harmonizes well with the gentle warmth of Cedar in the base. Musk and Vetiver blend with Labdanum Resin, adding body to the composition without overwhelming the lightness.
