A trailing oud, I wanted it to be exceptionally rich with jasmine, a scent that hits you like a tsunami.
Oud Jasmin is the scent of the “Arabian Nights”, the collection of short stories from the East, in which the terrible Sultan Shahriyar falls in love. A scent that evokes the mysteries and beauties of Arab culture, the atmosphere of the starry heavens, the silences of the caravans that plough through the desert and the scent of musk, incense and myrrh that you perceive in eastern, arabesques buildings.
A dark, intense and sensual fragrance where Jasmine Sambac absolute reigns supreme, with a woody base. This oud, is characterized by smoky nuances; a combination of incense and leather with strong animalesque accents and earthy scents. As sweet as chocolate and as fragrant as honey, however leaving a bitter and salty aftertaste. It was certainly not an easy task to “create” Oud Jasmin, the risk of trivializing those typically hot and mysterious facets ever present, but I believe that I have succeeded. Furthermore, I would like to pay homage to all the fans, which in recent years, have shown absolute devotion to the creations of the Maison.
Oud Jasmin, a disturbing and ambiguous soul, which blends light, sensual Jasmine with the hot-woody shades of Burmese oud. A dazzling scent, similar to a fire red flash” — press release of the brand.
Oud Jasmin was launched in 2016. The nose behind this fragrance is Antonio Visconti.
