This scent opens with the brightness of Bergamot and Pink Pepper, and the subtle sweet warmth of Pimento Berry. This blend helps to balance out the intensity of the spice and wood blend of Frankincense, Saffron, Suede, Mystikal, Akigalawood, Papyrus and Sandalwood. Where the original Purpose has an aromatic spicy woodiness, Purpose 50 has a sweet and warm spicy woodines. The Pimento Berry feels like a creamy cloud caressing each note as it unfolds within the composition. The sweetness lessens, but remains, as the depth of the base begins to set in, eventually creating an almost realistic fresh-cut-wood aroma at certain points. But the sweet warmth always returns. There is a playful energy to it. It is the scent for the person who is always seeking depth, richness and meaning in life, but who loves to let loose and have fun. The professional who doesn’t take themselves too seriously. It is a scent that will work in the Fall, Winter and early Spring months, and its 50% pure oil strength will make this scent last forever on the skin. It can be worn to the office if given some time to dry down, and will work perfectly for just about any time, place or occasion, working especially well for times when you’re getting dressed up. A lot of people compare this scent to a blend of Amouage’s Guidance and Purpose, others the “Ganymede plus…”. It also feels like Purpose with a more creamy vibe.

This scent opens with a subtle smoky wisp from the Frankincense, but very develops a gentle freshness from Bergamot and Pink Pepper. Pimento Berry comes in next, adding a touch of warm sweetness that helps to temper the depth that follows. A hint of Rose comes into play, but very briefly. Sand Vetiver, Sandalwood and Akigalawood bring an earthy, woody layer to the scent, and Saffron, Papyrus, Suede, and Ambery Mystikal bring a warm and spicy element. A final touch of Vanilla keeps a gentle hint of sweetness going through to the end, creating a balance to the composition.
