Qi Intensivo is an aromatic, green, Tea scent created for Men and Women in 2012 by perfumer Geza Schoen.
Review
This scent has a light and fresh quality to it, but also boasts an interesting bitterness that comes from its many blends of Tea notes. The Tea essence becomes earthy as Tea Notes blend with Mate Tea, Moss and Myrrh. It develops with a gentle, yet raw, earthiness before it takes on an aroma of real Tea Leaves. It stimulates the senses, yet also brings a calming essence that reminds you to slow down, and really portrays the Chi mindset. It boasts a sophistication that makes it work well in an office setting, and will work perfectly for any casual time, place, or occasion. It can be worn in all seasons, and will last. It has been compared to many Tea based scents, including Wulong Cha from Nishane.
Inspiration
Qi means “Breath of Life” and takes inspiration from the tranquility and calmness of slowing down and taking a breath, as well as the Chinese people’s love of light and delicate scents.
Notes
Green Lemon Blossom and Neroli create a bright opening, followed closely by Tea Notes and Osmanthus. A subtle floral heart gives way to Mate Tea, Musk and Moss. A Tea and Earth essence blossoms on the skin, bringing a slightly bitter quality within its aromatic aromas. Benzoin and Myrrh add a soft depth that keeps the Tea essence thriving to the end.
