Scandal Pour Homme Eau de Parfum is an aromatic, fougere, clean scent created for Men in 2019 by perfumer Roja Dove.
Review
This scent starts off with a blast of citrus, then quickly becomes a sweeter version of a classic barber-shop style Fougere scent with a modern twist. It is safe for the office, but will work best for any casual or formal occasion outside of the workspace. Though it can become soft and close to the skin, it will last, and will work well in all seasons. It is comparable to vintage Dior Eau Sauvage and has been compared to Xerjoff’s Fiero. Notes
A blast of citrus energy opens this scent with Lemon, Bergamot, and Petitgrain. The classic Fougere essence then comes in with Spearmint, Lavender, and Basil, with a touch of sweet, grassy, Tarragon. A soft floral heart opens to Rhubarb, which reignites the citrus tones in the beginning, followed closely by Moss Notes and Patchouli that play off of the Fougere tones. A spicy blend of Cardamom, Clove, and Nutmeg blends with a soft woody mix of Vetiver, Cedar, Casmir and Sandalwood, adding depth and warmth. Leathery Labdanum comes in at the end, blended with Amber and Musk, and a sweet touch of Tonka Bean, giving this scent a sweet and sultry touch.
