Tethys is a warm, floral, gourmand scent created in 2018 by Paolo Terenzi. Part of the “Titans Collection”, it is one of 8 scents that is inspired by the origins of the world, and the Titans and Titanides who represent the profound forces that determined nature and her rules.
Review
This scent is a beautiful Gourmand with Coffee and Chocolate notes. It has good longevity and is great if you want something warm to wear to the office, and an added spritz after work will make it perfect for snuggling up with that special someone. It is comparable to Montale’s Intense Cafe.
Inspiration
This scent is inspired by the Titaness Tethys, Goddess of the fresh waters that nourish the earth. She is said to be the mother of rivers, sea nymphs, and the clouds.
Notes
Coffee Bean wakes your senses and then is softened with a touch of Vanilla and Chocolate. Jasmine and Bulgarian Rose add a bit of vibrancy, while a layer of warmth takes over with Amber, Musk and soft Woods, and an infusion of Vanilla Flower, and helps tie everything together.
