Vetiveria is a fresh, earthy, Vetiver scent created for Men and Women in 2025 by perfumer Geza Schoen.
Review
This scent is fresh and earthy. The Lime note is immediately present, giving a bright freshness to the Vetiver, which brings its grassy essence. Pepper gives a faint pop, but isn’t too spicy, and seems to lie just under the surface for quite a while. Orange Blossom gives a gentle floral essence, lingering nicely when paired with Snowbell, a Honey-like flower that smells similar to Orange Blossom. Moss adds a gentle Mossy earthiness to the end of the scent, conjuring an image of what it might be like to stand in a field of Vetiver on a hot day. Even though Lime is the only citrus note, it lingers nicely for quite a long time. The scent is earthy, grassy, fresh, and citrusy. At times things feel like they lean slightly masculine, but ultimately this is a truly universal Vetiver scent. It will work great in an office setting, and can easily be dressed up or down, but does have a more casual vibe to it. It will work great in any weather, but feels like it is made for Spring and Summer. It has a subtlety to it that will make it stay closer to the skin, but will last for hours. It has been compared to Ormonde Jayne’s Zizan, and feels like a blend between A. Gaade’s Royall Lyme blended with Creed’s Original Vetiver or Roja Vetiver Pour Homme.
Inspiration
Vetiveria was inspired by the Islands of Indonesia, especially the Island of Java, where the Vetiver for this fragrance was sourced from. It pays homage to “nature’s most elegant grass”.
Notes
Upon first spray of this fragrance you immediately feel the Lime. It doesn’t quite feel Peppery, but you can tell that the Timur Pepper is giving the Lime a nice pop. Alongside the Lime, you can also immediately feel the Vetiver. At first it’s super fresh and invigorating, slowly becoming more earthy as it dries down. You can feel the Sage and Juniper Berry just under the surface, but they don’t feel like standout notes. Snowbell, a Honey-like flower with an aroma similar to Orange Blossom, and pairs perfectly with an Orange Blossom note and a hint of Jasmine that boosts them both up. Lavender can be felt softly, but it never becomes a Lavender scent. It segues perfectly into a note of Moss, creating a gentle Mossy, earthy vibe. Though much more subtle now, the Lime can be felt right down to the finish, where Rockrose adds a subtle Leather-like essence, alongside the sweet warmth of Tonka Bean that finishes this scent perfectly. In the end, it is a subtle, fresh, aromatic, earthy, Vetiver scent for everyone.
