Wood Jasmin is a woody, floral, fruity scent created for Men and Women in 2016 by perfumer Camille Leguay.
Review
This scent is boozy and rich with the fruits and flowers floating atop the richer nuances, and the Vanilla creeping up within the dry down. It can be suitable for the office if sprayed sparingly, but is better suited for cold weather and evening occasions. It has been compared to a number of Tom Ford fragrances, such as Plum Japonais, Tobacco Oud and Tobacco Vanille.
Inspiration
Like a lush oasis in a desert land, mystery lies everywhere. Lush flowers and fruit trees abound amongst the vegetation in this exotic world. A turn is taken and fairies are seen dancing upon a shining lake . A storm brews and the air becomes heavy. The dryness of the desert mingles with this lush paradise, creating a scent like a dream.
Notes
The woodiness and warmth of this scent can be felt immediately. Incense, Patchouli, Labdanum, and Cypriol create an intensity that subdues into a floral bouquet of Egyptian and Sambac Jasmine and Turkish Rose. As these floral notes unfold, hints of Plum and Pear arise. The woods begin to develop into an elegant essence, and Vanilla can be felt creating a delicate sweetness.
Top Notes: Plum, Pear
Heart Notes: Egyptian Jasmine, Sambac Jasmine, Turkish Rose, Dhavanam
Base Notes: Incense of Somalia, Madagascan Vanilla, Indonesian Patchouli, Labdanum of Spain, Cypriol Nagarmotha of India
