Mint is often used in food and drinks, as well as candy and gums, and products to freshen breath, like toothpaste and mouthwash.
In Greek Mythology, Mint was personified as a nymph named Minthe. She was beloved by Hades, and was eventually transformed into the Mint plant by either Persephone or Demeter.
Mint has been described many ways, including Refreshing, cool, invigorating, piercing, herbaceous, and aromatic.
