Our Favorite Summer Scents of 2023

We’ve talked about Summer scents before.

There is no rule that says you have to switch up your scents with the seasons, but a lot of people tend to want a scent that is lighter, cleaner, and more refreshing when the weather starts to get warmer. Something that doesn’t feel too heavy or rich.

Citruses, bright fruits, aquatic and clean scents are big hits during the summertime.

Their refreshing qualities can boost your mood, energize your senses, and make you ready to take on your day, whether you’re working or playing.

Ambra Calabria from Nishane is bright and refreshing with a burst of fresh Bergamot and Green Leaves. Though Bergamot is the only Citrus note in this scent, it lasts from beginning to end in this composition. Vanilla is warmed with Amber in the base, while tempering it with a gentle sweetness.

Delina La Rosee from Parfums de Marly is the newest rendition of the Delina collection. It boasts the iconic blend of Rose, Peony, and Lychee, but switches things up with the addition of sweet Pear and bright Bergamot that give it a bright, clean, zesty, and refreshing quality.

The Harmonist presents two aquatic fragrances with Guiding Water and Sacred Water. Sacred Water has a sweet and bright essence that comes from a blend of Citron, Mandarin, Ginger, Orange Blossom, and Laminaria Seaweed. Depth is added with hints of Amber and Amyris. Guiding Water is Ozonic and aquatic. A slight mineralic quality comes from Ozonic notes blending with water flowers and Musk. A touch of Watermelon adds the perfect hint of sweetness.

Borea from Tiziana Terenzi is a lush floral scent, inspired by the flower covered terraces of the city of Sanremo in Italy, known as the “CIty of Flowers”. A bountiful floral bouquet of Jasmine, Rose, Tuberose, Lily of the Valley, Magnolia, and Iris are brightened with the sweet essences of Pear, Plum, and Almond, and a faint creaminess from Coconut. It recreates the aromas of wandering through a flower market, a field of blossoming flowers, and garden parties.

Isfarkand from Ormonde Jayne begins with a bang of Pepper. Your senses are caught off guard, just for a second, and then a bright blend of Lime, Mandarin, and Bergamot makes you feel alive. Cedar, Vetiver, and Moss make up the base, adding a gentle green quality, but this scent remains refreshing and invigorating all the way through.

Isola Blu from Roja Parfum is a scent inspired by Mediterranean vacations. Citruses and fruits are blended spices, Amber, Tea, Oakmoss, and Juniper, creating a unique, airy quality that conjures images of a place so warm, you can taste the aromas of the citrus trees, grasses, and earth in the air!

You can find all these scents, and more, at Parfumerie Nasreen in Seattle!

We’d love to hear what your favorite Summer scents are.
