Le Persona is a luxury fragrance house from Korea that launched in 2022. In 2025, they finally found their way to the US.
The fragrances were inspired by the idea that fragrance is an extension of the personality.
In Ancient Greece, actors would wear masks to impart more personality to their characters. The idea being that a mask gives you the power to unleash a new person from within you. These masks were called “Persona”.
Each fragrance within the Le Persona collection represents a different type of personality, and tells a different story from the next scent.
Working with perfumes Frank Voelkl, Emilie Coppermann, and Alain Allione, the brand began with 4 fragrances.
LP01 Mystic Rose blends Centifolia Rose, White Peony, Amber, Black Tea, Black Pepper, and Musk to create an aromatic floral scent that smells as if you’ve been working in your Rose Garden all afternoon. It’s floral, fresh, green, earthy, and bright.
LP02 Peacock Feather blends Lime, Lemon, Coconut, Lavender, and Amber to create a supremely refreshing citrus scent that feels like an invigorating cocktail after a night of dancing at Carnival in Brazil. It is fresh and crisp with a faint hint of sweetness.
LP03 Wooden Face blends Sandalwood, Fig and Cardamom for a scent that is woody, creamy and aromatic. It conjures an image of the wooden masks used in the Ancient Greek plays. Perhaps some were made of Sandalwood and some from the wood of Fig trees.
LP04 Golden Gem blends Cardamom, Vanilla, Cedarwood, Guaiac Wood, Patchouli, a Fire Accord, and Rose to create a scent that smells like you’ve thrown hundreds of fresh Rose Petals into a bonfire. It’s smoky and warm and floral.
Overall, the Le Persona fragrances are unique and interesting and all definitely worth trying.
The above fragrances are all Eau de Parfums. In 2025, Le Persona launched 2 new Extrait fragrances, Masquerade Ball and Whispering Kiss.
